Job Purpose:
Support the delivery of projects through effective promotion and administration of the organisation and its projects. This role involves managing social media, creating engaging content, supporting project marketing, and ensuring effective data collection and management.
Marketing & Social Media:
Implement marketing strategies to increase awareness and audience engagement by:
• Creating and implementing a clear marketing plan to promote the organisation and grow its audience.
• Building and maintaining good relationships with media outlets and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring consistent brand identity throughout all communication channels and promotional design work.
• Managing social media channels and digital marketing campaigns to engage audiences and promote the organisation.
• Developing and executing project and organisational marketing campaigns
Project Support and Coordination:
Ensure effective delivery of our programmes of work through:
• Supporting the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of projects and programmes, for example booking sites, transport, freelancers, producing registers and general administrative support.
• Managing project bookings and registrations through ticketing software (Ticket Tailor).
• Responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Supporting the delivery of forest school training through the administration of training registration and assessment
• Taking part in project meetings and contributing to the long-term planning of programmes of work
• Supporting the effective operation of The Gate House as a events venue, ensuring effective set up and day to day running of activities
Data Management:
To ensure the efficient collation and management of organisational data to ensure accurate record-keeping, and effective impact measurement by:
• Managing and maintaining accurate records of projects and participant data on the management system (Views), including participant information and feedback.
• Managing the organisations mailing lists via the CRM and ensure effective use of the data for contact and promotional purposes
• Ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations, including regular mailing list cleansing
General:
• Attend and proactively contribute to team meeting and line management meetings
• Contribute to collaborative team working through adherence to Get Out More’s systems
• Support other work if required and capacity allow
• Using analytics tools to track social media performance, report on key metrics and inform future campaigns.
• Monitoring marketing trends and adapt plans to maximise engagement and reach.
• Producing marketing materials, including flyers, posters, and digital graphics to promote both the organisation and its projects.
• Developing press releases, blog posts, and other written content to support marketing campaigns.
• Maintaining the organisation’s photo and video library, ensuring proper organisation and compliance with permissions.
• Maintaining the Get Out More website through its content management system (WordPress)
