Social Investment Forum

SOCIAL INVESTMENT FORUM

Social Enterprise UK chairs the Social Investment Forum, a network of social investment and finance intermediaries (SIFIs) designed to help keep money flowing around the market and ensure it reaches the social enterprises on the ground.

WHAT DOES THE SOCIAL INVESTMENT FORUM CAMPAIGN FOR?

Organisations in the Social Investment Forum work together to:

  • Develop a coherent collective voice to influence social investment policy
  • Encourage and facilitate networking, and sharing of good practice + up-to-date information
  • Make the market function better for social enterprises and charities

In 2012 the Social Investment Forum successfully campaigned for changes to the Financial Services Bill that are expected to kick-start a culture-change in the way UK financial regulators regard the social investment market, aiding its expansion.
