RBS launches new programme to support social enterprise
Working with Social Enterprise UK, RBS will support 2,500 social enterprises to improve access to expertise, markets and finance.
The launch of 'Inspiring Social Enterprise' is part of the 'Inspiring Enterprise' programme, which also includes the 'Youth Enterprise' and 'Women in Enterprise' schemes.
As part of its comittment, RBS has renewed its Founding Partner status with Social Enterprise UK (SEUK) for a further three years and will continue to support social enterprises through its MicroFinance Fund, which provides community business loans. RBS will also continue supporting the Social Enterprise 100 Index (SE100) - a data report and survey that provides information about social enterprises' impact.
