Andrew Croft became Chief Executive of CAN in 2008 having joined the organisation in 2006 with responsibility for the development of new revenue streams and replication, including CAN Mezzanine the award-winning high quality office space for charities, social enterprise and voluntary groups.

Andrew brought a wealth of experience in operations, sales, customer service, real estate and business development, with over 20 years’ management experience from John Lewis Partnership to easyGroup.

Prior to joining CAN Andrew was based in New York as Vice President Business Development for the easyGroup of companies, reporting directly to Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, where he was involved with franchising, real estate and a major shareholder value dispute which successfully concluded with the sale of a NY listed PLC. Prior to this he was European Expansion Manager for easyGroup and was responsible for the international rollout of all the easyInternet cafes from Oxford Street, London, across Europe and on to 42nd Street, New York.

Andrew is also Non Executive Director of UnLtd and Thare Machi Education.

Andrew gained his MBA through Imperial College London; sits on the Credit Committee for the ACF Communitybuilders Fund; is a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts and served under Lord Young as a panel judge for the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of The Year Award”.

In 2013 Andrew was appointed a Mutuals Ambassador as part of the Cabinet Office Mutuals Ambassadors Programme.
